Adi (Advaita) Kelkar
I'm Adi, Advaita Kelkar, a Master of Architecture student at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I grew up in Mumbai, where I learned early to love design thinking and making things with my hands, and my work since has spanned architecture, interior design, and web design.
I like problems that don't fit neatly inside one discipline. Whether the answer calls for a drawing, a prototype, or a piece of code, I borrow from whatever field fits the question, and I genuinely enjoy the process of making, from first sketch to final detail.
Along the way I've worked at the intersections of architecture, interiors, and the web, contributing to installations, exhibitions, and product design. I also curate content on computational design and AI, two tools that now sit at the center of my own practice.
I believe good design can change how people live, and I want to keep testing that belief across every medium I can reach. If something here resonates with you, reach out. I'm always glad to connect and collaborate.

Professional Journey
SCAD Fabrication Monitor ACTIVE
I help run the Foundation Studies fabrication studio: maintaining tools and equipment, keeping the shop safe, and building whatever it needs, from jigs and shop fixtures to signage, displays, and light repairs. (Part Time)
F'KD Workshop
I helped build the studio from the ground up: hiring and leading teams, mentoring junior architects, and running projects from first proposal to onsite execution. My work covered design, visualization, and project management across hospitality, public, and residential projects, often several at once. (Full Time)
Studio 823
I joined as an intern in my final year of architecture school and stayed on full time after graduation. Mentored by Samir Raut and Faizan Khatri, I worked on hospitality, commercial, research, and residential interior projects. This studio laid the foundation for everything I've done since. (Full Time)
ARCHV
ARCHV is a collective I founded with friends, built on a simple idea: making things together matters more than money or timelines. I organize transdisciplinary projects with collaborators from across the design fields. (Part Time)
Indian Art Fair
Public art exhibition with Nayan Mote Studio, showing the CARLO and Urban Dichotomy artwork collections.
Raw Collaborative 4.0
Celebrate Bandra
RFLCT, a mirrored tetrahedral light sculpture built by ARCHV for the Celebrate Bandra art festival.
Traces and Territory
Site-specific dichroic acrylic installation by ARCHV inside Dhal Ni Pol, a historic quarter of Ahmedabad.
Homegrown
Mash India

Helped establish the studio; led teams and managed hospitality, public, and residential projects from proposal to execution.
Raw Collaborative Exhibition 2021

ARCHV 2018 - 2024
A collective built with friends purely for the love of making, running transdisciplinary projects across art, design, and fabrication.
Studio 823 2018 - 2021
Started as an intern in my final BArch year; worked on hospitality, commercial, research, and residential interiors under close mentorship.
Pragrup Jan 2016 - Jun 2016
Six months of hands-on, full-scale building: wood houses, competitions, commercial spaces, and experimental graphics.
Hiray College of Architecture 2012 - 2019
Learned the fundamentals the hands-on way: drafting, model-making, and testing theory against real projects.
